KnowMe

A birthday quiz about the person, not random trivia

You do not need a microphone or a printed score sheet. Put together a few questions about the birthday person, share one link with guests, and compare scores after the round.

Keep the round short and personal

Three to five questions make an easy round between greetings and cake. Mix details most guests will know with one story only close friends remember. It should feel like an invitation to reminisce, not a test of friendship.

Question starters for the guest of honour

Swap in real places, lines, and events from your group. These are prompts to adapt, not guesses about someone you do not know.

  • What changed about last year’s birthday plan before everyone arrived?
  • What did [name] say in the moment captured in this photo?
  • What did [name] order first at the place where you celebrated?
  • Which small souvenir from a trip does [name] still keep?
  • Who first suggested the plan everyone still brings up?
  • Which song came on during the drive and stayed in everyone’s head all night?

How to play it at the party

Check every answer in advance and remove anything that could embarrass the birthday person. Publish the quiz, send the link to guests, and let them play on their own phones. Once they finish, compare scores and talk through the answers.

A quick prep list

Use only photos and stories the birthday person is happy to share. Confirm the right answer, make sure the other choices sound plausible, and save the guest link. KnowMe also lets you write the questions yourself; photos are optional.
